A brief heads up by fellow editor Shaun Bowman Davies.

The One Show date confirmed

The BBC has given a date for the screening of The One Show piece featuring the Haven Sunderland, T9044, and the Sunderland Trust.

It is scheduled for next Tuesday, 27th September – the programme begins at 7 pm on BBC1

Presenter and historian Dan Snow visited earlier this year and dived on Sunderland T9044 – 70 years after it sank off Pembroke Dock. Dan dived with Nick Hammond of the Pembroke Dock Sunderland Trust Dive Group. Also appearing will be 91-year-old Wing Commander Derek Martin who flew T9044 in 1940 and who was interviewed at the Flying Boat Centre. Derek is Patron of the Pembroke Dock Sunderland Trust.
